FREEZING TIPS

Best Practices:

  1. Cool completely before freezing
  2. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil or freezer bag
  3. Label with date and product name
  4. Portion control - freeze cakes in slices, separate cookies/muffins
  5. Remove air from bags to prevent freezer burn

Thawing:

  • Room temperature: 2-4 hours depending on size
  • Refrigerator overnight: Best for cakes and cream-filled items
  • Reheat directly from frozen: Breads and rolls (add 2-3 minutes to heating time)

FOOD SAFETY REMINDERS

  • Always check for signs of spoilage before consuming
  • If you notice any unusual smell, texture, or appearance, do not eat
  • Cream cheese frosted items (Korean garlic bread) MUST be refrigerated after 2 hours at room temperature
  • When in doubt, refrigerate - better safe than sorry!
