Sweet Sprinkles Refund & Cancellation Policy
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you have guaranteed consumer rights (consumer guarantees) that cannot be excluded. Our goods must be:
- Of acceptable quality
- Fit for any purpose you specify
- Match the description provided
If we fail to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy.
Our Commitment to Quality
At Sweet Sprinkles, we take pride in using premium ingredients to create fresh-baked goods made to order. We're committed to your satisfaction with every delivery.
Cancellations & Change of Mind
- Before Baking Begins: If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery, we'll provide a full refund
- After Production Starts: Once we've begun preparing your made-to-order items, we cannot offer change-of-mind refunds as ingredients have been allocated and preparation has commenced
- Important: Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are not required to provide refunds for change of mind on perishable goods

Faulty or Unsuitable Products (Consumer Guarantee Rights)
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if your order:
- Is not of acceptable quality (spoiled, contaminated, or unsafe)
- Does not match our description (wrong product, flavor, or specifications)
- Arrives damaged or in an unacceptable condition
- Is unfit for its intended purpose
Major Failures: For significant problems (health and safety concerns, completely incorrect order, severely damaged goods), you can choose between:
- A full refund, or
- A replacement at no additional cost
Minor Failures: For minor problems that can be easily fixed, we will:
- Replace the affected items, or
- Provide a refund if replacement isn't reasonable
How to Request a Remedy
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the issue and your order details
- We'll assess your claim and respond within 2 business days
- Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method

What Doesn't Qualify for Refund
Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide refunds for:
- Change of mind after production has begun
- Personal taste preferences (if the product matches its description and is of acceptable quality)
- Minor cosmetic variations that don't affect quality or safety
- Issues caused by misuse or failure to follow storage instructions
- Incorrect delivery details provided by you (redelivery fees may apply)
Food Safety
We comply with the Food Act 1984 (Vic) and Australian food safety standards. If you have concerns about food safety, contact us immediately and we will investigate in accordance with our food safety obligations.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Please review our ingredient lists and allergen information carefully. While we take precautions, our kitchen handles common allergens. We cannot accept liability for adverse reactions if you have not informed us of specific requirements prior to ordering.
